Football legends like Emmanuel Eboue, Sol Cambell, Robert Pires, and Mark Fish have arrived in Abuja for the maiden edition of the Attom Charity Champions Cup.
The charity match, an initiative of the Attom Foundation, will be held on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The match aims to raise funds and awareness to help at least 10,000 Nigerians, particularly the elderly, address vision problems caused by refractive errors, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.
Other football legends expected at the charity match include Brazil’s Dida, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu and some Nigerian ex-internationals.

Some members of the current Super Eagles squad, such as Kenneth Omeruo, Samuel Chukwueze, Kelechi Iheancaho, Joseph Yobo, Wilfred Ndidi, and Chidozie Awaziem, will also participate in the match.
The Attom Foundation Charity Champions Cup is backed by the ministry of sports development, Associazione Italiana Arbitri, Kaffy Kreative Agency, Trascorp Hilton, Zenith Bank, Ibom Air, Kanu Heart Foundation, Habib Medical Clinic, Red Bull, Amstel Malt Ultra and Cossington Luxury Apartments, among others.
Some of the country’s celebrities, such as AY Makun, Mr Macaroni, Kaffy, Shaggy, Brain Jotter, and many more, will join the football superstars in action.
