Monaco defender, Elderson Echiejile, is certain that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will beat South Africa in Uyo to qualify for 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Equatorial Guinea.
Nigeria beat Congo 2-0 in Pointe Noire to get their qualifying campaign firmly back on track after a disastrous start.
The African champions are now second in Group A with seven points from five matches, four points behind group winners South Africa, who have already booked their ticket to the next AFCON.
Nigeria only need to win on Wednesday to also book their place in Africa’s biggest soccer event and Echiejile, who lost his left-back position to Juwon Oshaniwa against Congo, believes “the job will be completed”.

“We did a great job in Congo on Saturday and we will complete this on Wednesday by beating South Africa to qualify for the Nations Cup,” he said.
“Despite the intimidation and what have you, we showed guts to win in Congo. But we also know the job will only be completed when we beat South Africa in Uyo.”
Both teams played out a 0-0 draw when they first met in September in Cape Town.
