Uncapped forward, Edjomariegwe, targets Nigeria’s World Cup squad

Tony Edjomariegwe, an attacker who plays for Olympique Safi of Morocco, hopes to make Nigeria’s roster for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Edjomariegwe has never been invited to the Super Eagles.

But the former Kano Pillars star insists his main focus is getting a call-up to the World Cup squad.

The 25-year-old has been in top form for the Moroccan Botolo Pro side since the start of the current season.

”I am still eyeing a call-up to the Super Eagles,” Edjomariegwe told TheCable

“I know we have a few months away from the World Cup and I hope I will make the final squad.

”I haven’t been invited to the main team of the Super Eagles before but I will work hard to make the squad to Ruasia.

”Everything is possible. Nigerians have seen me play before.

“All I need to do now is to work very hard and make the team,” he added.
