Edo governorship election: At half time, it’s APC 5 – 4 PDP

With a total of 142,424 votes, Godwin Obaskei, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Edo state governorship election, is leading Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

So far, Ize-Iyamu has 136,808 votes, leaving a margin of 5,616 margin between the two leading candidates in the election.

To reach that mark, the APC candidate won five local governments while PDP had four of the nine local governments so far announced.
