Mohammed Muazu, founder of Hausa Fulani blog, has urged government at all levels and philanthropists in the country to invest in education to enable people know their rights and duties.
Mohammed made this call while sharing insights on how he started the famous Instagram page: “Hausa Fulani blog”.
He said there has been a lot of misconceptions about the northern region of the country, with many people referring to most of them as illiterates.
This, he said, pushed him to establish a blog that “tells the values, culture and morals of the beautiful people of the northern region”.

“I think those that have flawed opinion about the north have never been here. This region (north) is a peaceful environment structured to motivate, and help you grow in your establishment. We are peace loving people and accommodating. We are known to be honest trustworthy, blessed with great minds in all walks of life,” he said.
“Yes there are misconceptions which ranges from seeing an average Northerner as ‘uneducated’ and ‘parasites.’ While this is far from the truth, our people are hardworking and take pride in tilling the land to supply essential commodities like food to other parts of the country.”
The Gombe born public relations expert said he ventured into the field about a decade ago and established the Hausa Fulani blog with a clear mission to provide his audience with “quality and informed contents mixed with entertainment.”

“Presently, the Hausa Fulani Blog now serves as a platform for entrepreneurs and multinational companies to reach their audience. Each of our post engages over five hundred thousand audience and this has encouraged us do more by ensuring contents are free of loopholes.
“Additionally, we have grown not to limit ourselves on new media but also organize events for entrepreneurs, promotes and create public awareness for prospective entrepreneurs. Some of which are Fashions shows, Family Fun-fairs, food expo, entrepreneurs meet and greets, concerts, and among others.”
