FULL LIST: Israel-Ayide, Elizabeth Osho named among top 50 PR professionals in Nigeria

GLG Communications, a brand agency, has named 50 influential public relations (PR) professionals in Nigeria for 2024.

In its 2024 PR Power List, GLG named Edward Israel-Ayide, founder of Carpe Diem Solutions, and Ngozi Emeagi, director of communications, data and analytics at London Stock Exchange Group, UK, among the 50 influential PR professionals.

In a statement on Tuesday, GLG said an event was held to honour the professionals, spotlight change-makers, emerging voices, and community builders within the PR industry in Nigeria and the diaspora, as well as celebrate World PR Day.

“The PR Power List celebrates individual achievements and serves as a testament to the growing influence and impact of the PR industry in Nigeria,” the statement reads.

“It highlights the profession’s important role in shaping narratives, building brands, and fostering meaningful communication across various sections of society. 

“Israel-Ayide’s recognition in the PR Power List highlights his unwavering commitment to helping clients build trust throughout his decade-long career.”

Commenting on the achievement, Omawumi Ogbe, managing partner at GLG Communications, said this year’s PR Power List confirms the “exceptional talent and creativity within the African PR industry”.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding professionals shaping the narrative of our times,” she added.

On his part, Israel-Ayide said his inclusion in the 2024 PR Power List is a “humbling recognition of the hard work and dedication my team and I have put into our craft”.

“It will motivate us to continue pushing the boundaries of excellence in the PR industry,” he said.

Also speaking, Andras Sztaniszlav, chief executive officer (CEO) of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO PR) and jury member, said he was impressed by the calibre of talent and the remarkable contributions of the Nigerian PR professionals shortlisted.

“It is a privilege to be part of the process that recognises and celebrates their exceptional work,” Sztaniszlav added.

According to the statement, the PR Power List, established in 2022, celebrates PR and communications experts across various sectors and highlights their achievements over the past 12 months.
