The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has arrested 29 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.
The agency announced the arrests in a statement shared on its X account on Thursday.
The EFCC said the suspects were taken into custody after operatives acted on credible intelligence.
The statement added that items recovered from the suspects included “43 phones of different makes, six vehicles and two smartwatches”.
