Kayode Egbetokun, the inspector-general of police (IGP), has deployed Adegoke Fayoade as the new commissioner of police in Lagos.
Muyiwa Adejobi, the force spokesperson, announced the development in a post shared on X.
“IGP deploys CP Adegoke Fayoade to Lagos Command. Lagos has a new commissioner of Police. Congrats to my boss, Adegoke Fayoade,” Adejobi wrote on Tuesday.
