Super Eagles goalkeeper, Austin Ejide, has revealed that he cried a lot after the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
“I cried a lot after we could not qualify for the African Cup of Nations, but I am happy to be with Hapoel Be’er Sheva because everyone’s dream is to win trophies,” he said.
At Hapoel Be’er Sheva, his current deal expires this summer and the keeper has the right to start talking with prospective suitors for a possible transfer.
But Hapoel Be’er Sheva has offered him a new three-year deal which his agents are believed to be studying. Ejide, though, is not bothered about the situation.

“I am not thinking about the contract right now, but want to give 100 per cent to Hapoel Be’er Sheva every game; that is the most important,”he said.
The 30-year-old also admitted that he shed tears after Super Eagles failed to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
