‘He was a pillar’ — el-Rufai mourns Nok, former education commissioner

Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state, says Andrew Nok, late commissioner of education, science and technology, was a pillar in his cabinet.

El-Rufai said this when he and members of the state executive council paid a condolence visit to Nok’s family.

Nok, a renowned professor of Biochemistry, died in the early hours of Tuesday.

El-Rufai described Nok as a dedicated compatriot who diligently served Kaduna.
