The government of Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna state, has sacked Yahaya Shinko, chairman of interim management committee of Kaduna south local government.
Samuel Aruwan, special assistant to el-Rufai on media and publicity, disclosed this on Tuesday, saying the sack was with immediate effect.
“The Kaduna state government has announced the interdiction of the chairman interim management committee of Kaduna south local government, Alhaji Yahaya Ibrahim Shinko, with immediate effect,” Aruwan said.
According to him, Shinko has been directed to hand over the affairs of the council to the vice-chairman of the interim management committee.
