The security operatives were seen on Tuesday mounting checkpoints around some parts of Lugbe, Soka, and Kuje.
On Monday, protesters demanding an end to police brutality and a reform of the force had blocked Kuje and Airport Road leading to Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Expressway.

Some protesters also sustained injuries when policemen fired live bullets and teargas to disperse them at AYA Junction in Abuja on Monday.
The #EndSARS protest in various parts of the country is now in its 13th day despite the dissolution of the unit by Mohammed Adamu, the inspector-general of police (IGP).

Protesters have now released a #5for5 demand list before street demonstrations would cease.
The army had issued a statement, saying it would embark on a nationwide operation codenamed, ‘Crocodile Smile’.
Although the army said its operation was not targeted at protesters, soldiers could be seen lined up on major roads across the FCT.
