England thrashed Ukraine 4-0 in their European championship quarter-final encounter at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, thanks to a brace from Harry Kane.
Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson added further goals as the Three Lions waltzed into the semi-finals of the Euros for the first time in 25 years (since 1996).
Gareth Southgate brought in Jason Sancho and Mason Mount from the start and the attacking set up paid off in the fourth minute.
Raheem Sterling slid a pass through to Kane for the captain to poke in and score in successive games at the tournament.

Ukraine’s battling performance almost yielded result when Kyle Walker’s poor back pass was intercepted but Jordan Pickford, England goalkeeper, came to the rescue.
Declan Rice and Sancho both went close but England was denied a healthier lead at halftime by Ukraine’s Heorhiy Bushchan.
They, however, added two quick goals five minutes into the restart with Luke Shaw providing crosses for both Maguire and Kane headers to make it 3-0.

Henderson, a substitute, scored England’s fourth as Gareth Southgate’s men played their best game of the tournament so far while sending Ukraine packing from Euro 2020.
Denmark await England in the semi-finals with the tie set for July 7, at Wembley stadium, London.
