Sullivan Chime, governor of Enugu state, has vacated the governor’s lodge at the government house in the state.
A top government official, who pleaded anonymity, told NAN on Saturday that Chime had moved to his private residence at Independence Layout, in Enugu, capital of the state.
According to the source, the movement was to facilitate the renovation of the lodge for Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, the governor-elect.
The source also said that Chime would take the governor-elect on a familarisation tour of the lodge after the renovation.
