Vincent Enyeama, Asisat Oshoala and Desire Oparanozie have been shortlisted into the final three for the 2014 African Player of the Year award in the men and women’s categories.
CAF announced the finalists for this year’s award on their official website on Thursday.
Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the current holder of the award, Yaya Toure of the Ivory Coast are the other shortlists.
In the women’s category, Annette Ngo Ndom of Cameroon will battle with Oshoala and Oparanozie for the gong.

Oshoala can bag double awards as she also made the shortlist for the Youth Player of the Year.
The winners will be announced at the Glo-CAF Awards night in Lagos on January 8, 2015.
