Enyimba were on Wednesday defeated 1-0 by Raja Casablanca in the first leg of CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
The two-time Champions League winners couldn’t convert begging chances against the experienced Moroccan side at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.
Both teams tried to grab the opening goal but they couldn’t make their chances count as the first half ended goalless.
Raja Casablanca silenced the home fans in the 47th minute courtesy of Abdelilah Hafidi’s goal.

Enyimba had a chance to equalise but winger Stanley Dimgba missed from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.
Despite the pressure from the People’s Elephants, the visiting team held on to the three points.
The second leg of the encounter will take place in Morocco.
