Alejandro Garnacho scored a brilliant overhead kick early in the first half to set Manchester United on the road to a 3-0 win against Everton in their English Premier League (EPL) encounter at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial added further goals to ensure an easy day at the office for the Old Trafford side, piling more misery on the Everton side, who were recently handed a 10-point deduction for violating the EPL’s financial rules.
Garnacho latched on to a deep Diogo Dalot cross to stun the spectators three minutes into the encounter with an overhead kick that arrowed into the top corner.
Erik ten Hag’s side waited until the 56th minute before doubling their lead through Rashford’s penalty.

Martial, who won the penalty, sealed an easy win by finishing off a team move fifteen minutes from time.
Man United move up to sixth on the EPL log, while Everton are down at the bottom end in 19th position.
Elsewhere, Tottenham succumbed to another league defeat at home, losing 2-1 to Aston Villa who moved into the top four for the first time since 2009.
