Erling Haaland scored his second English Premier League (EPL) hat-trick as Manchester City dismantled newly promoted Nottingham Forest 6-0 in their encounter at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old delivered his hat-trick within 26 minutes, as further goals from Joao Cancelo and Julio Alvarez (brace) completed the rout.
Haaland gave City the lead with a place shot and tapped in the second before planting a header into the net to complete his hat-trick.
The Norwegian striker has now scored nine goals in his first five EPL matches, as Man City remain second on the EPL log behind on-form Arsenal.

The Gunners maintained their perfect start to the season following a 2-1 win over Aston Villa for five straight victories.
Gabriel Jesus’ strike handed Arsenal a first half lead that was cancelled by Douglas Luiz on 74 minutes.
Gabriel Martinelli responded three minutes later, prodding home the winner to punish a wasteful Villa side and heap more pressure on Steven Gerrard, their manager.

Liverpool also needed a 98th-minute winner from Fabio Carvalho to snatch a 2-1 win against Newcastle United.
