Pierre Aubameyang scored a penalty on Sunday night to help Arsenal beat Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford in the English Premier League (EPL).
In a rather dour contest that failed to inspire, it was Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal who eventually found the breakthrough midway into the second half.
It was Arsenal’s first win at Old Trafford in the EPL since 2016.
Manchester United failed to continue their resurgence of recent weeks, marking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s 100th game as manager with a defeat and poor display.

Paul Pogba, starting for the first time in three matches, was responsible for the penalty after the French midfielder bundled Hector Bellerin over in the box.
Aubameyang, Arsenal captain, thereafter, sent David de Gea the wrong way to score his first goal in six matches.
The closest United got to an equalizer only came six minutes from the end when Mohamed Elneny, Arsenal midfielder, almost turned Donny van de Beek’s cross into the net but was rescued by the post.
