Arsenal Football Club extended their winless streak in the English Premier League (EPL) to seven, thanks to a 2-1 loss to Everton on Saturday night at Goodison Park.
The Gunners have failed to win a match in the EPL since the victory to Manchester United at Old Trafford on November 1.
In the action-packed encounter, Arsenal fell to a Rob Holding own goal and Yery Mina header in the first period. A Nicolas Pepe’s penalty was, however, not enough for the Gunners to get any point from the clash.
Mikel Arteta’s men now stay rooted in 15th place with 14 points from 14 matches, five points away from a relegation place.
