Arsenal defeated Leeds United 4-2 in their English Premier League (EPL) match played at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, thanks to a hat-trick from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabonese striker who started his first match in a month following a personal leave scored twice in the first half and added another in the second to help the Gunners open a four-goal lead before Leeds made a valiant effort at a response.
Aubameyang dispatched a right-foot shot into the corner for his first in 14 minutes and doubled the lead from the spot on 40 minutes, dispatching a penalty won by Bukayo Saka for his 200th career league goal.
Four minutes later, both players combined to find Hector Bellerin and the Spanish defender beat Illan Mesier at his near post for a 3-0 halftime lead.

Aubameyang completed his hat-trick — a first since 2017 — with a header two minutes after resumption to hand the Gunners a four-goal lead before Leeds United responded.
Marcelo Bielsa’s attacking guns scored twice in 11 minutes, first through Pascal Struijk’s header on 57 minutes and Helder Costa’s sliding conversion on 68 minutes.

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion to further drop points in the EPL title race. It was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side’s third draw in four league matches.
Relegation-threatened West Brom took a second-minute lead through Mbaye Diagne, but Bruno Fernandes equalized for the Red Devils just before halftime.
West Brom had better chances to win it in the second half but they were denied by David De Gea and wayward finishing.
Man United have amassed 46 points from 24 matches and sit second above Leicester City by superior goals difference. The Old Trafford side are seven points behind Man City.
