Manchester City won 3-1 at Watford in the English Premier League (EPL) encounter at Vicarage Road Stadium on Saturday to move up to the top of the league.
Raheem Sterling’s header gave City an early lead while Bernardo Silva doubled the lead before the interval.
Emmanuel Dennis, Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, was denied a penalty kick early in the second half by both the referee and VAR when he was caught on the shin by Ruben Dias, much to the frustration of the fans.
Silva then completed his brace minutes later with a curling strike into the top corner to stretch Man City’s lead before Cucho Hernandez scored Watford’s consolation goal on 74 minutes.

The Reds needed a last-gasp strike from substitute Divock Origi to claim a hard-fought 1-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Chelsea were the biggest losers of the day, surrendering the top spot following a 3-2 defeat at West Ham United despite taking the lead twice.
