Liverpool scored three goals in the first 15 minutes and a last-minute winner to defeat Tottenham 4-3 in their English Premier League (EPL) encounter at Anfield on Sunday.
Curtis Jones, Luiz Diaz and Mohamed Salah’s penalty set Liverpool on the path to victory.
Liverpool came out swinging from the first whistle and were aided by a sleepy Tottenham defence to take the lead on three minutes; Jones slotted in at the back post from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cross.
Diaz made it two on his return from injury, guiding a first-time shot into the near corner on five minutes before Salah converted a penalty won by Cody Gapko on 15 minutes.

Tottenham regrouped and scored one before halftime as Harry Kane’s volley found the back of the net for 3-1 at the interval.
The visitors hit the post thrice and squandered other opportunities before Heun-Min Son made it 3-2 on 77 minutes with a well-timed run and precise finish.
There was more drama in added time as Richarlison completed Tottenham’s comeback with a header on 92 minutes but Liverpool stole all three points two minutes later, with Diogo Jota pouncing on a defensive mistake to slot a shot into the far corner.
