A federal high court in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital, on Wednesday barred journalists and parents of Ese Oruru from witnessing her testimony in court.
Ese Oruru, 14, was allegedly abducted by Yunusa Dahiru, who is facing a five -count charge of criminal abduction, illicit sex, sexual exploitation and unlawful carnal knowledge of a minor.
James Amate, the prosecuting counsel, had told the court that Oruru had been delivered off a baby girl on May 26, and was available to give evidence.
She was brought into the court at 3pm.

Aliya Nganjiwa, the judge, took her evidence in camera after all cases for the day were dispensed with.
Nganjiwa ordered everybody, including Ese’s parent and journalist to out of the courtroom.
Kayode Olaosebekan, represented the accused and Dise Ogbise from the federation of women lawyers, appeared for Ese’s parents .
