Ebuka Obi, the founder of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, has denied reports that four police officers were sacked for “colluding” with him to prosecute Chizorom Harrison Ofoegbu.
Ofoegbu is a social media influencer, popularly known as Ijele Speaks.
In a statement issued on Monday, Dan Aibangbe, media adviser to the cleric, said the allegations were false.
The cleric claimed that he has no connection with the three police officers who were purportedly dismissed from the force.

The dismissed police officers were identified as Peter Ejike, a lawyer in charge of the zone 7 legal section; Ekende Edwin, an inspector; Esther Okafor, an inspector; and Talabi Kayode, a sergeant.
The cleric said the officers were arrested for allegedly stealing N43.1 million from one Andrew Ejah, an employee of FATFAD Cargo Nigeria Limited, who was conveying the cash on behalf of clients.
