Micheal Auta, Kaduna south senatorial candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking on Sunday at an event in Jaba LGA of Kaduna, Auta said there is a need to join forces with President Bola Tinubu and Uba Sani, governor of the state, to improve the welfare of the southern Kaduna people.
The former LP candidate said he would facilitate one million votes for Tinubu and Sani in the 2027 general election.
“Aligning with the ruling party is our alternative,” he said

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has embraced our people and appointed one of our own as the chief of defence staff, and Governor Uba Sani’s inclusive governance, as he promised during his campaign, is commendable.
“There is relative peace now; our people can sleep and return to their farmlands. The governor has not segregated us as the previous administration did.
“We’re not here to play politics but to uphold the tradition of joining a political party. I am joining the party to bring my wealth of experience to bear.”
