The All Progressives Congress (APC) has organised a football tournament for youth within its party.
Speaking with journalists after the kick-off of the tournament in Abuja on Thursday, Ibrahim Jalo, youth leader of the party, said the tournament was part of the party’s move to endear the country’s youth.
Jalo said the competition was an opportunity to showcase the talents of the youth to the world.
“This competition would bring out hidden talents in football which can be showcased to the world for future benefits to the individuals and the nation at large,” the APC youth leader told journalists.
