EXTRA: Buhari calls el-Rufai ‘the bulldozer’

After demolishing the head office of a faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna, governor Nasir el-Rufai has earned the title of ‘bulldozer’.

The appellation was given to him by none other than President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday during the national council of state meeting at the presidential villa.

The Kaduna state government had on Tuesday brought down the house of Suleiman Hukunyi, lawmaker representing Kaduna north central senatorial district.

The lawmaker had accused el-Rufai of personally demolishing his residence.

A senior government official had subsequently told TheCable that the Kaduna state Urban and Property Development Agency (KASUPDA) carried out the demolition because the property was allocated for “residential purpose and not for political activities”.

Here’s the video of Buhari’s coronation of el-Rufai as ‘bulldozer’.
