Festus Keyamo, minister of state for labour, has worn the type of outfit that Kashim Shettima, vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), wore at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference in Lagos state.
He did this in protest of the reactions to Shettima’s outfit at the event.
Shettima stirred reactions online after he appeared in a suit and sneakers.

The former governor of Borno represented Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, at the event on Monday.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Keyamo, spokesman of the APC presidential campaign council, said since many critics think Shettima’s attire is an issue, “let’s help make them the real issues!”

“Now, since they think the issues of Nigeria are three buttons, a pair of sneakers and a long tie, let’s help make them the real issues!,” the minister tweeted.
