Olisa Metuh, spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Alex Badeh, former chief of defence staff, were together at the courtroom of Okon Abang, justice of the federal high court, Abuja, on Monday.
Metuh, who arrived earlier before Badeh, exclaimed “general!” as he exchanged greetings with the former defence chief.
Both men later sauntered to a row of seats where they sat next to each other.
Metuh, who is facing a seven-count charge of money laundering preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before Abang, was in court for the judgment on a fundamental rights suit he filed against the federal government.

However, the judge announced that judgment was not ready owing to the number of cases he had to handle.
He, thereafter, fixed March 9 to deliver judgment on the suit.
Badeh, on the other hand, was arraigned by the EFCC before Abang on an 11-count charge of criminal breach of trust and corruption to the tune of N3.9bn.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The judge remanded him in prison, and fixed March 10 for hearing of his bail application and March 14 for commencement of trial.
