Police say man who ‘disappeared with Benz’ during test-drive still at large

The police command in Delta state says it has recovered the Mercedes Benz GLB 250 stolen by a professed buyer in Abuja on June 30.

The buyer, who has now been uncovered as Meshak Suinuohro, vanished with the vehicle reportedly worth N55m, after showing interest and requesting a test-drive.

Speaking with TheCable on Thursday, Edafe Bright, the spokesperson of the Delta police, said the vehicle was recovered at Ughelli North LGA.

He said the suspect, who specialises in stealing vehicles, managed to escape the police, adding that officers are on his trail.
