Abdul-Aziz Abubakar, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has made a mockery of some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), who appear not to be happy over their current political situation or the happenings within the party.

In a post on X on Monday, Abubakar, who is also a supporter of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, said the APC members he listed belong to the “Tinubu Regret Organization”.

Abubakar named Nasir el-Rufai, a former of Kaduna state, as the “founder” of the organisation.

He listed Abdulaziz Yari, a senator representing Zamfara west, as the “director-general” and Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano, as the “grand patron”.

Abubakar said Aisha Binani, a former senator, is a “women leader,”  Kabir Marafa, a former senator, is the “public relations officer,”  and Yahaya Bello, a former governor of Kogi, is a “youth leader”.

He said the other members of the organisation are Kabiru Gaya, a serving senator; Abdullahi Adamu, former national chairman of APC; Sadiya Umar Farouq, a former minister; Ahmed Yerima, a former governor of Zamfara; and Elisha Abbo, a former senator.

El-Rufai was nominated by President Bola Tinubu to be a minister, but the senate refused to confirm him over “security clearance”.

Kwankwaso believes that the federal government under Tinubu’s watch is behind Aminu Ado Bayero, the deposed Emir of Kano.

The former senator and Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, favour Muhammad Sanusi II to be the Emir of Kano. Despite his reinstatement, the tussle for the throne has continued.

Binani, whom Tinubu supported, lost the Adamawa governorship election in 2023 and was not appointed by him in any capacity.

The former governor of Kogi is currently on the run from the clutches of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He is accused of diverting over N80 billion belonging to Kogi state.
