Nigerians are tired of getting apprehended by Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) and officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission, and they are doing something about it.
A Twitter account, VIO/FRSC Sighting (@VioSightings), has been opened to monitor and pass information on the location of VIO and FRSC officials, in order to evade them.
The handle, which just came on stream about 48 hours ago, has raked nearly 800 followers, sharing information on the locations of these officials, in order to avoid their “trap”.
“If you spot VIO or FRSC officials on the roads, let us know. Let’s save ourselves from their traps!,” the handle’s bio reads.

Via a pinned tweet, the handle adds: “Hey guys! Please, when giving updates on the locations of VIO & FRSC officials, ensure you use a time stamp. Lets not waste our efforts”.
