FAAN: Henceforth, only our escorts will be allowed at airports

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) says no individual or agency will be allowed to use protocol services after immigration for departing passengers or before immigration for arriving passengers.

The agency announced this in a statement released on Wednesday.

It said the decision was taken in line with the federal government’s ease of doing business directive which includes sanitising the airports.

According to the statement, the directive will not apply to FAAN protocol services and designated officers from the ministry of foreign affairs.
