Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, has cautioned residents of the state against participating in the planned nationwide protest.

According to NAN, speaking at a town hall meeting with stakeholders on Monday, Sani said faceless groups are behind the planned protests.

He said his administration is committed to citizens’ welfare and security.

The governor acknowledged the economic difficulties Nigerians are daily grappling with, adding that the hardship is due to years of mismanagement and corruption.

He said President Bola Tinubu is working hard to reset the economy with policies aimed at sustainable growth.

The governor harped on efforts to rebuild trust, enhance security, and implement pro-poor policies.

Sani said stakeholders in the state should prioritise stability and progress, advising against actions that could trigger unrest.

He assured that the government is taking steps to address security challenges and improve socio-economic conditions.

The governor called for unity and responsible actions to support the state’s development and the nation’s progress, adding that the planned protest is unnecessary and ill-timed.
