The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has elected new officers into its national working committee (NWC).
The election of the new officers was carried out during the party’s national convention held in Abuja on Saturday.
Falalu Bello was re-elected as the national chairman through a consensus arrangement.
Other members of the party’s NWC include Babatunde Alli, national secretary; Abdullahi Bayawo, national treasurer; Stanley Exeanyaku, national vice-chairman north; Hajia Aisha Dankanni, national vice-chairman north west, and Abdulganiyu Muhammed, national vice-chairman, north east.

Others are Haruna Buhari, national vice-chairman, north-central; Kolade Oluwaseun, national vice-chairman, south-west; Peter Okafor, national vice-chairman, south-east; Godwin Akpaidang, national vice-chairman, south-south; Abdullahi Yunusa Bayawo, national treasurer, and Kanu Uchenna Sunday, financial secretary.
Delivering his acceptance speech, Bello asked party members to work in unity to achieve victory in the 2023 general election.
The national chairman expressed confidence that the party can win the 2023 presidential election.

He encouraged party members to embark on a membership drive across the country, adding that PRP will provide a level playing field for all its presidential aspirants.
On Friday, Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, former spokesman to Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano, officially joined PRP.
In March, Tanko-Yakasai announced his decision to resign his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
