The Super Falcons pummeled Equatorial Guinea 9-0 to clinch the 2021 Turkish Women’s Cup in Antalya on Tuesday.
The nine-time champion became the first African team to win the tournament after picking nine points in three matches.
The performance was described as “a harvest of goals” on the official Twitter handle of the Falcons.

Asisat Oshoala bagged four of the goals in the 11th, 13th, 26th and 85th minute of play.
Gloria Ogbonna, Uchenna Kanu, Charity Adule, new-girl Toni Oyedupe Payne and Gift Monday also registered on the scoresheet to condemn the two-time African champions to a humiliating defeat.
The Randy Waldrum-coached team scored a total of 11 goals without conceding any throughout the tournament.
