Four family members have reportedly murdered their last child in Umueze II, Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo state.
The incident which happened on Tuesday, was said to have caused an uproar in the community.
The deceased was accused of “being stubborn, giving them sleepless nights and bringing a bad name to the family”.
TheCable learnt that the victim — identified as Chukwuebuka and 28 years old — was killed and buried in a shallow grave at the resident of the family.

A source told TheCable that the family were confronted by the youths of Duruegwele community who demanded the whereabouts of the deceased but the father reportedly said the late son travelled to Ghana.
Not satisfied with the response, the youths threatened to burn down the house — prompting the daughter to confess that they “jointly killed Chukwuemeka”.
Philip, the elder brother of the deceased, is reportedly on the run.

Michael Abattem, police spokesperson, described the incident as tragic.
He said the suspects have been arrested and will soon be charged to court after investigation is concluded.
