The Honorary Members’ Forum (HMF) of the Nigeria Air Force Officers’ Mess (NAFOM) will hold its annual lecture on Friday, December 15.
The event titled: ‘Leadership — leading the change’ will hold at the Sam Ethan Air Force Base in Ikeja, Lagos.
Babatunde Fashola, a former governor of Lagos and immediate past minister of works and housing, will be the guest lecturer at the event.
AI Sambo, an air commodore and president of the mess committee, will also deliver a presentation at the event.

The lecturers will be dissecting the theme vis-a-vis Nigeria’s security situation.
The special guests of honour are Abubakar Abdullahi, an air vice marshall and air officer commanding logistic command; and Goke Akinrogunde, chairman of NAFOM Ikeja’s HMF.
Abdullahi is a senior NAF officer who has participated in both international peacekeeping and internal security operations, including United Nations Missions, ECOWAS Missions in Liberia and Guinea Bissau.

He also participated in Operation Lafia Dole, as well as Operation Hadin Kai in the north-east.
Akinrogunde is a medical practitioner and principal associate at GTAKHEALTH Communication and Allied Services.
The event will commence at 5 pm and will include both learning and networking sessions for the attendees.
