Charisa and Chairo Myles Munroe Jr woke up Sunday morning in a happy family, complete with father and mother ─ but they went to bed same day as orphans. It could not have been a more traumatic experience for the young college graduates.
Their father, Myles Munroe, was a global icon who coached millions about discovering their purpose in life and fulfilling their destiny. He was a pastor, author, motivational speaker and leadership consultant across the world.
His wife, Ruth, was also on the doomed flight which crashed on approach near Grand Bahama International Airport, killing all the nine passengers on board.
Not much is known about Chairo, who is yet to speak on this tragic family accident.

He last updated his status on this facebook page in August 2013, but he has many pictures indicating that he loves travelling and seeing sights.
In one of the pictures, he was standing close to a young tiger, indicating that he might be one for adventure. It appears he wanted to give the tiger a kiss.
Chairo is the younger of the two children and there is every reason to believe he is not married yet, just like the sister.

Munroe often displayed pictures of his immediate family on Christmas cards he sent out on behalf of his ministry, and was known to place family high on his priority list.
The Senior vice president and pastor Richard Pinder also died in the crash, but the programme they were going for would still hold, according to a message on Munroe’s facebook page.
It read: “Dear Facebook Friends, On behalf of Myles Munroe International and ITWLA. We would like to inform you that the Global Leadership Forum will continue. The Forum will be for two and a half days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning). This is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted. Please keep his family and the ministry in prayers.”
Authorities said the Lear jet carrying Munroe and others exploded on impact with a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard and plunged into a junkyard below as it was making its landing approach for Grand Bahama about 5:10 p.m.(11.10pm Nigerian time), about an hour after takeoff from Nassau.

The Civil Aviation Department said it would launch a full-scale investigation of the crash.

Myles Munroe always said” the greatest tragedy is not death, but a life without purpose” we’re grateful for a life very well spent.
very touching and sad that will lost an icon of the Word like that. My prayer is that; the Lord will grant the family and the whole world the fortitude to bear this great loss.
Jesus death was pathetic, but His name is EVERLASTING! Myles Monroe’s death is tragic, but his legacy is trans-generational. .

Dr Miles died empty and in action.Our awesome God could have stopped this but he didn’t. Let us who remain carry on the work.
if we really understand the meaning of death, we will understand that Dr. munroe did not die, because there are a whole lot of him ( works ) arround wc will remain relevant as long as procreation continues, to us physically he is dead, but spiritual ‘cos of his works wc we all know & will for ever b remembered for he is not dead. he only relocated to a higher ground. “do well there & rest Adieu Dr.”
A very sad bit of news. May their souls rest in the eternal peace of Christ, who me they served so devotedly. May their children be consoled in their grief and find renewed joy in their faith.
Life is indeed a mystery. There must be something about death that we mortals are yet to know. May their souls enjoy eternal peace in the bossom of the Lord.

I am so saddened by the sudden death of one of the world’s most prominent leaders and his wife of our time. I pray that God will comfort and console those he left behind.
