TheCable had reported how Ibrahim and 38 other students were abducted by bandits who attacked the school on March 12.

Although the state and the federal government had promised to rescue them, not much has been heard regarding where they are being kept.

On Monday, their parents took to the streets to protest their captivity.

They have also asked Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna to dialogue with the bandits.

The governor had said he will not engage with the criminals as such action is the duty of private citizens such as clerics.
