The father of one of the abducted Chibok girls, Rev Enoch Mark, has spoken about the abduction of his daughter, following insinuations that the abduction of the girls may be a hoax.
Speaking at the sit-out rally of the #Bringbackourgirls campaign at the Maitama Amusement Park, Abuja, Mark thanked everyone who has been involved in creating awareness on the missing girls.
He said that until this time, he never thought that Nigeria recognised Chibok. But the show of love from Nigerians gladdens him.
He said that he was encouraged by the show of empathy from Nigerians, and called on all Nigerians, irrespective of religion, to stand united and demand their rights.

“This case is is not a religious matter, Boko Haram does not understand if you a Christian or a pagan. There is no Muslim, no Christian, no pagan to Boko Haram,” he said.
“If you are not with them, they are against you. Let Christians fast and pray, and let Muslims go to their mosque and pray. Nobody will separate Muslims and Christians in this country. May God bless us all.”
Friday marked the 10th day of the #Bringbackourgirls campaign in Abuja. The organisers, Women for Justice and Peace, which is under the auspices of the Human Rights Agenda Network, have been irrepressible and resolute in demand the rescue of the girls.

I am glad that the fathers have decided to show that these are their daughters we are all fighting for, they should not have left every emotional outburst to their wives. Doing so encourages the suspicion that the whole abduction issue is a hoax (I hope not)
