Fayose: Buhari should hand over to Osinbajo

Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari “to hand over to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo” if he cannot find solutions to the economic woes of the country.

Fayose accused the president of giving flimsy excuses for not being able to give Nigerians the change they deserve.

He challenged him to fulfill his campaign promises, opposing the likely increase in the pump price of petrol and remove subsidy.

He was speaking on Tuesday while signing the N67.04 billion 2016 appropriation bill of the state into law.

“Enough of these flimsy excuses. President Buhari has to fulfill all his electoral promises to the people,” he said.

“If he has no clues to all these problems, he should hand over to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo or whoever and bow out honourably.

“What President Buhari promised us is change but what we have under this government is dwindling economy, low power generation, proposed subsidy removal, high level poverty and naira devaluation.

“For the president to have told Nigerians to brace up for more hardship in 2016 is the most callous of a man who promised Nigerians change.”

  1. Mr Fayose u vry vry right 4 sayin that our president can’t lead I never expected that a president like Buhari wil be waisting time to fix this country to be grt as he promised instead things re getting woarst mr Gov am in support to ur contribution

  2. Goroski, i beg to disagree with you. No reasonable economic analyst would agree to this parrot called Fayose who is a disgrace to every Ekiti man. The economy has been rubished by his party for about 16 years and you want magic fixing in less than a year. For God’s sake PMB government need to be allowed a breathing space as we could all see the sincerity in fixing a lot of things. Please, let all descerning minds do more of praying for the government than all these critical critiques.

    1. Go away with your st***d prayers,,,,continue to bury your head in the sand like the ostrich. Wake up and smell the coffee, Nigeria has what she deserves in Buhari.
