Fayose’s PDP wins ‘all seats’ in Ekiti assembly

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti state has won all the seats in the state’s house of assembly, just as Ayodele Fayose, the governor of the state had earlier promised.

Of the 26 constituencies, the PDP won 25 seats, while the last, which was Ilejemeje, was cancelled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) due to violence in the constituency.

Earlier, Fayose had boasted that his party would win all the seats in the state house of assembly.

“By the power of God, they lost 16-0 on June 21, 2014; they lost 16-0 again on March 28. They will lose 26-0 on Saturday, April 11, ″ he said.
