FCT CP Disu’s adopted son dies in road accident

Adam, the adopted son of Tunji Disu, the commissioner of police in the federal capital territory (FCT), has died in a road accident.

The lone road mishap occurred on January 20 in Abuja, the country’s capital. The car reportedly caught fire immediately after the crash.

TheCable understands that Disu had adopted Adam at a very young age.

The deceased graduated from the department of philosophy at the Lagos State University (LASU) in 2023, and completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) last year.

ATIKU CONDOLES DISU

In an X post, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar condoled with the FCT police commissioner over the death of his son.

“The news about the tragic loss of the son of the commissioner of police in FCT in a ghastly auto crash is heartbreaking,” Abubakar wrote.

“It is the prayer and expectation of every parent that their children should succeed them.

“But when nature decides the matter in reverse order, the pain is difficult to bear.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the family of police commissioner Olatunji Disu. May God grant them the comfort to bear this agonising loss.”
