Water supply to Kubwa satellite town in the federal capital territory (FCT) would be cut off throughout Saturday.
Hazat Sule, chief press secretary to the FCT minister, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday.
The statement said the interruption in water supply will enable the FCT Water Board carry out routine maintenance of its facilities in Kubwa.
Sule said the maintenance work “is to ensure uninterrupted supply of water to all the residents of the satellite town”, assuring them that normal water supply would be restored on Sunday.

He expressed regret over the situation, but promised that the FCT administration would continue to work round the clock to make potable water available to all the residents of the territory.
