The federal capital territory (FCT) has discharged 11 patients who were diagnosed of COVID-19.
Mohammed Bello, FCT minister, who broke the news on Sunday, said the patients all recovered from the disease after their treatment.
“Dear FCT residents, I am pleased to announce the successful treatment and discharge of 11 #COVID19 patients from the Isolation and Treatment Centre in the FCT,” he wrote via Twitter.

The new recoveries brings to 173 the total number of cases successfully treated and discharged in the nation’s capital as of Sunday.
Zamfara and Kebbi still have the highest recovery rate of the disease in the country having discharged all 76 and 33 patients respectively.
As of Sunday, Nigeria has recorded 9,855 cases of the coronavirus, but only 6,726 are active, with 2,856 recoveries and 273 deaths.

Globally, at least six million people have been infected with the virus which has killed 371,400, but 2,750,000 have recovered.
