The federal capital territory (FCT) has discharged nine COVID-19 patients.
Mohammed Bello, FCT minister, who disclosed the recoveries on his Twitter page on Monday, said the patients were discharged on Sunday after testing negative for the coronavirus.
”Dear FCT residents, I bring you good news as we successfully discharged additional nine (9) #COVID19 patients from our treatment facility in the FCT, after they tested negative in their subsequent tests,” he wrote.

Earlier on Sunday, 11 patients were also discharged from the FCT COVID-19 isolation centre.
This brings the total number of discharged COVID-19 patients in the FCT to 182 as of May 31.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 307 new COVID-19 cases in 14 states and the federal capital territory (FCT) on Sunday night.

A total of 10,162 COVID-19 cases have now been confirmed in 35 states and the FCT.
