Female U-17 team to camp in Abuja ahead of World Cup

Nigeria’s Female U-17 team, Flamingoes will camp in the nation’s capital, Abuja, ahead of their 2016 U-17 World Cup qualifiers game, which begins on January 8, 2016.

The Nigerian side would play against either Botswana or Namibia

An official of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said the Abuja International Stadium was a preferred choice, considering the need to have the best facility to prepare the team for the duration of the game in Nigeria.

“We need the best facility to be at our peak to qualify for the tournament as all Nigerians expect,” the official said.
