The federal government says it has secured an additional $116 million from the French government to boost digital entrepreneurship in the country.

Bosun Tijani, minister of communications, innovation, and digital economy made this known on his official X handle on Friday.

Tijani, who represented Vice President Kashim Shettima in signing the agreement on France’s contribution, said the funds will be channelled to the investment in digital and creative enterprises (I-DICE) programme.

“The I-DICE programme, led by the office of the vice president, will support young Nigerians as they create job opportunities in the digital and creative economy,” he posted.
